Beat the Passover blues

This Passover it's time to start thinking about how to make this special holiday fun for the kids. The holiday lasts a whole week and it can be difficult to keep things interesting for children - and lets face it, adults too. Hagelslag is a great way to doll up some old favorites. Here are a few ideas to try below and one original recipe that will keep your Passover feeling fresh:

  • Instead of the traditional jam or jelly on matzah, why not try sprinkling some Hagelslag on top? It adds a sweet and chocolatey twist to this classic dish that kids are sure to love. Plus, it's a quick and easy way to make mealtime more exciting for the little ones. Or use the Forrest Fruit! A bright treat on an otherwise brown lunch.

  • Jazz up your charoset by mixing in some Hagelslag for a modern and delicious take on this traditional Passover staple. The chocolate goes great with apples and nuts and will have all your guests impressed with your new twist.

  • Try some Hagelslag on top of your matzo brei and enjoy it all 8 mornings.

  • Enjoy our recipe for kosher for Passover Granola below (8-10 serving):
